Q:

I have
submitted a request to withdraw from studies. Do I have to settle the
outstanding composition fee?
|
A:
|
As stipulated in the
Student Handbook, a student is liable to pay the annual composition fee
despite withdrawal from studies at any time during the academic year.
Withdrawal from study does not remove the need to settle any outstanding
financial payments or financial aid obligations due to the University or
financial aid office(s).

Q:
|
I have been
approved to take Leave of Absence (LoA) for the
whole semester. Do I have to pay the composition fee?
|
A:
|
Composition fee will not be
charged for students who have been approved to take LoA
for the whole semester. If LoA was granted after
issuance of invoice, the relevant fees will be reverted in due course. For
students who have been granted LoA after payment
of composition fee, the paid fee will be carried forward to offset the
ensuing (i.e. next) instalment of composition fee.
